About Pantoal Dsr Capsule:

Pantaprazole and domperidone | Pantoal Dsr capsule is one of the drugs falling under the group of dopamine antagonists and is used for prevention of vomiting and nausea. People with gastrointestinal diseases and Parkinson’s disease can benefit from of this medicine to alleviate their problems. It helps by constricting the muscles at the entrance of the stomach and relaxes the muscles at the exit of stomach, allowing the food to pass easily from the stomach to the small intestine. The medicine allows the food to pass throughout the body in a smooth way.

The medicine helps in reducing the stimulation of ‘vomiting centre’ of your brain and thus reducing the sensation of nausea or vomiting. It makes the food pass through the body with ease and quickly, not making you feel full. It suppresses the messages of symptoms of vomiting thus not make you nauseate. 

When Pantoal Dsr is Prescribed:

·        Nausea and vomiting

Pantoal Dsr Capsule is used to treat or prevent nausea and vomiting which may be caused due to chemotherapy or digestive system disorder.

·        Gastric motility disorders

Pantoal Dsr Capsule is also used in the treatment of gastric motility disorders which may include delayed or hastened emptying of stomach

Side effects of Pantaol Dsr capsules:

In addition to its intended effect, Pantoal Dsr(pantaprazole and domperidone) Capsule may cause some unwanted effects too. In such cases, you must seek medical attention immediately. This is not an exhaustive list of side effects. Please inform your doctor if you experience any adverse reaction to the medication.

•  Swelling of face, lips, eyelids, tongue, hands and feet 
•  Difficulty in breathing 
•  Skin rash
•  Convulsions 
•  Heart rhythm disorders 
•  Disrupted menstrual cycle
•  Breast pain and tenderness 
• Dry mouth

Dosage instructions:

·         Are there any missed dose instructions?

If you miss a dose, it is better if you skip that dose because a double dose can cause serious side effects. If you miss a dose and remember it within half an hour of prescribed time, you may have it.

·         Are there any overdose instructions?

In case of an overdose, make sure that you visit a doctor as soon as possible. Immediate medical attention is required in cases with serious side effects.
