Celgin-D Tablet Composition:
The active ingredients
of Celgin-D include Paracetamol, Phenylephrine
Hydrochloride,Caffeine&Diphenhydramine HCL. The nature and working of each
drug are mentioned below:

Paracetamol: The drug exhibits weak anti-inflammatory property.
It is used as analgesics i.e. painkiller. The medicine is used to treat mild to
moderate pain and fever.

Phenylephrine: The drug belongs to the class of vasopressors.
It acts as a nasal decongestant and reduces the swelling of blood vessels in
the nose.
·
Caffeine: helps to
increase the pain relief from paracetamol and makes you more alert.
·
Diphenhydramine HCL: It is an antihistamine used to relieve symptoms of
allergy, hay fever, and the common cold. These symptoms include rash, itching,
watery eyes, itchy eyes/nose/throat, cough, runny nose, and sneezing.
The drug helps relieve
conditions like allergies, hay fever and nasal congestion because of cold. The
drug helps reduce the swelling of blood vessels in the nose.

Celgin-DTablet Side Effects:

- The medicine can be taken with or without food. However for patients with gastric concerns, the medicine should be consumed along with food.
- It must be taken after having food along with water to derive maximum benefit.
- The medicine should be consumed at a fixed time.
- Enough time gaps should be present between two consecutive Celgin-D doses, if more than one tablet is being consumed in a day.
- The medicine should be swallowed as a whole with plenty of water..
